All-City Track Meet (ACTM)
What a wonderful ACTM! Our athletes conquered the long jump, shot put and high jump on Friday night with support from the high school track and field team. And our teachers raced with smiles on their faces in a fierce teacher egg and spoon relay.
The weather on Saturday was perfect for running and Arroyo Vista raced with heart and brought home more than 200 medals! It was a great show of teamwork and sportsmanship. We especially want to acknowledge our relay teams and alternates who spent the past few weeks training to race for AV.
Huge Congrats to all participants! Overall results are posted HERE.
THANK YOU to our dozens of parent volunteers who gave so much of their time and energy both this weekend and over the past many weeks. Special thanks to our relay practice volunteers and grade group escorts who built up the kids’ skills and guided them enthusiastically through the events. We couldn’t do it without you!
Big thank you to the AV ACTM Committee: Cami Zappaterra, Alexandra Lubenova, Megan Hopkins, and Marion Johnson. If you enjoyed volunteering and want to get more involved next year, please let us know.
