Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

AV PTA honored our teachers and staff this week for getting through another (unpredictable) year with grace, enthusiasm, and skill. They were treated to lunch catered by Cos & Pi; gifted spirit wear; treated to breakfast by Heirloom Bakery & Coffee Bean; and gifted goodie bags from students and families. We wrapped it up on Friday with a fun video tribute at our assembly. Thank you to Heidi Mayne and Kirsten Kawai for event planning this amazing week! High fives to their helpers Noel Bahamon, Erik Gammell, Bernice Hong, Stella Jang, Jen Koca, Kelly Kwan, Melissa Lien, Panda Korman, Min Meeker, Rowena Romano, and Jennifer Wang. And last but never least, thank you to all of our amazing ROOM PARENTS for their help communicating with their class families and collecting special gifts for our teachers. What a team effort!

Volunteer Appreciation Event

AV PTA’s Annual Volunteer Appreciation and Service Awards Ceremony will be held virtually on Friday, May 14th. If you volunteered this year and did not receive an invitation but would like to attend, please email Jenn Koca.
