The Wilderness Classroom

This past Friday, students attended a virtual school assembly about the Amazon Rainforest! The assembly was led by Dave and Amy Freeman of the Wilderness Classroom, who have traveled the world by kayak, canoe, sailboat, and even dogsled. During our assembly, they shared their adventures and knowledge about the Amazon Rainforest, including the people, animals, and plants that live there. Students interacted with Dave and Amy through poll questions and a Q and A option. Special thanks to Principal Sinclair and PTA Board members Jennifer Wang and Brian Mahler for making this assembly happen.

Gratefulness Video Collage

Before we break for Thanksgiving, our PTA Historian would like to create a gratefulness-themed video collage. The video will play at the 11/20 Friday Assembly and we will post the video on Instagram as well. If you’d like to be included, we need the following from you by 11/17:

  1. One or two words describing what fills your student and/or family with gratitude.
  2. A photo of your student and/or family (feel free to also include a photo related to your words)
  3. Name and grade of your child
