Jog-A-Thon is now Friday, February 23

The Jog-A-Thon is now happening Friday, 2/23! Please have your children wear AV colors (blue and red) or any AV spirit wear to show their school spirit!

We are proud to continue our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, so we ask that you send your children to school with a refillable water bottle, labeled with their name so that they are prepared to hydrate on Friday after their big run!

All parents are welcome on campus to cheer during the Jog-a-thon!

Community Coffee with SPEF – Thursday, 2/15

Come chat with SPEF leadership over a FREE cup of coffee after drop off on Thursday, 2/15!

The Science Fair is Coming

The AV Science Fair/STEM Expo this year will be on Tuesday, February 20th at 5:30pm in the MPR. Poster boards will be on sale this week for $5 in the front office or at the El Centro Gate during pick-up.

PTA General Meeting – 2/21 @7pm

Join us virtually for our next General PTA Meeting on Wednesday, February 21 @7pm! Mrs. Swanborn will present on the Visual Arts Program at AV.


5th Grade Parents Needed!

Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. February is 5th grade month. If you are a 5th grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day!   Sign Up HERE.

AV Gives Back – March 9th

This event is open to all South Pasadena elementary schools! No need to register if your family  plans to participate, but we will need volunteers to help run the event! Click HERE to sign up.

All City Track Meet 2024

It’s time to lace up your shoes and register for the All City Track Meet where the AV Wildcats compete against South Pasadena elementary schools in track and field events!

Friday – Field Day Fun activities on the turf for all athletes!
Spectators can purchase t-shirts
New Finish Line Technology
Opening Ceremonies on Friday featuring the SPHS Pep Squad & Color Guard & more!

All registration/payment done online ONLY.
All parents will receive a registration confirmation email from [email protected] that will include a link to the volunteer sign-up form. Please sign up to volunteer!

Relay Team Try-Outs will be held at school during recess or PE the Week of March 18th – 22nd.  More details to come.

(This ACTM is for grades K-5 only, but TK is encouraged to come out and cheer for their school as they look forward to participating in years to come.)
