AV Bike Bus + Active Transportation
Walking and biking to school builds independence, healthy habits, and a stronger community. AV PTA invites all students and families to join our Walk & Bike Bus. This is a fun, safe, and eco-friendly way to get to school while showing how small actions can make a big difference for our planet.
Bike Bus
Our adult-led Bike Bus rides to school every Tuesday, following two routes. The new route leaves the library on El Centro at 7:55 AM, and the original route meets at Grand & Hermosa at 7:55 AM. Students can join alone or with family members at any point along the way. Volunteers accompany the group to ensure a safe, enjoyable ride.
We encourage students of all ages to participate and welcome parents and caregivers to join as walkers, riders, or volunteers. Check the map for routes, and contact Kristen Pumphrey at kristenpumphrey@gmail.com to join the WhatsApp group or for more information. Any other questions email bikebus@ptav.org
Let’s make a positive impact together – one step, one pedal at a time!
