Wish Night
What an incredible success Back to School Night turned out to be for the 2023/2024 school year! We hope you had a great time getting a glimpse of what your child will be exploring and experiencing in the coming months. We want to extend our thanks for any support you’re able to provide to your child’s teacher. While you can “grant wishes” at any point throughout the year, making an early donation helps our teachers plan effectively for the year ahead. If your company offers corporate matching, you have the amazing opportunity to DOUBLE your wish-granting impact!
You can donate online at ptav.org/wish-night. Alternatively, you can drop your form and check in the front office (make sure to mark your envelope “Wish Night”) or opt to send in a check along with your donation form to: Arroyo Vista – Attn: Wish Night, 335 El Centro St.

5th Grade Parents Needed!
Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. September is 5th grade month. First Day of School
Yard signs, and banners, and popsicles…oh my! Our Wildcats had a fantastic start to the 2023/24 school year!
Staff Appreciation Brunch
Our teachers, administrators, and staff have been hard at work preparing Arroyo Vista for the start of the new school year, and the AV PTA wanted to make sure they knew how much we appreciate all of their effort! This past Friday, the Staff Appreciation Committee hosted a brunch in the AV Teacher’s Lounge with fruit, refreshments, and Lucky Boy breakfast burritos! A special thank you to the SA committee, Jamie Lee, Minsun Park Meeker, and O’ryan McKinney Bruskin for making sure the new school year is off to a great start.
Popsicle Sales Are BACK!
Grab a frozen treat and support our 5th graders EVERY Tuesday, beginning August 15th!
