AV Marketplace 2021 Recap

Thank you to everyone who shopped the AV Marketplace last week. Over 1,000 people took a look at the digital catalog to show their support! We are so proud of all the AV students/business owners who put in so much time and energy to make their businesses come to life.

Between all the AV Marketplace participants, they donated over $350 to various non-profit organizations so far, and we’re still counting…WOW! A special thank you to all those parents who were there every step of the way to make it happen, especially Marketplace Committee Chairs, Stella Jang, Jenn Koca, and Jennifer Wang.

Final Week for AV Gives Back December Project!

Students in Mr. Fiedler’s and Mrs. Haines’ 4th grade classes did an OUTSTANDING job decorating and filling Birthday Boxes for Foster Youth at Hillsides in support of our December AV Gives Back service project! You can support foster youth and local underserved children by participating in our AV Gives Back Holiday Toy Drive!

Through Sunday, December 19th, families can purchase a gift at The Dinosaur Farm for a child between 5 and 18 years of age, drop it in the collection bin toward the back of the store, and scan the QR code to earn Wildcat Adventure Points and be entered into our monthly raffle. Wildcat Adventure Raffle on 12/22!

Record your participation at ptav.org/wildcat for the AV Marketplace and AV Gives Back December Projects! A raffle drawing for December participation will take place on December 22nd, so keep an eye out on Instagram for the winners. Winners will be notified via email.

2022-2023 PTA Executive Board Nominations

The Nominations Committee for the 2022-2023 PTA Executive Board will meet in January to review nominations for Executive Board positions. AV Directories were distributed to all PTA members last week. If you did not get an email with a link to the directory, this most likely means that you are not a PTA member. Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. December is 2nd grade month!
