Last Day to Turn In JOG-A-THON Donations is THIS TUESDAY 2/21
Great job to all the students who gave it their all and ran laps for the Jog-A-Thon to help raise money for their school! Thank you to all the parents who came out to help tally laps and cheer on the students as well as to the AV Jog-A-Thon volunteer crew who spent all day tallying up laps. Now let’s get those pledges and donations in by Tuesday, February 21 so that it can be counted towards the Golden Shoe Awards for your class!

Science Fair – February 23
The AV Science Fair/STEM Expo this year will be on Thursday, February 23rd at 6pm in the MPR. Any questions, please contact Janna Conner-Niclaes at [email protected]
All City Track Meet 2023
It’s time to lace up your shoes and register for the All City Track Meet where the AV Wildcats compete against South Pasadena elementary schools in track and field events!
Event Dates: Friday, April 21st – Saturday, April 22nd
This year’s track meet will take place over two days. See the flyer below and visit SPACTM.org for event details.
(This event is for grades K-5 only, but TK is encouraged to come out and cheer for their school as they look forward to participating in years to come.)

Relay Team Try-Outs will be held at school during recess or PE the Week of March 20th – 24th. More details to come.

AV Gives Back Recap
This month, our amazing 1st Graders decorated thoughtful Valentines for seniors at the South Pasadena Senior Center. Thank you to Kelly Kwan and her nonprofit, Good SamariTots, for leading this event!
2023/24 PTA Nomination Slate
5th Grade Parents Needed!
Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. February is 5th grade month. If you are a 5th grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.
