AV STEM Night Recap

Thank you to all the families who came to AV’s STEM NIGHT and all of the wonderful volunteers who helped make it happen! We were thrilled to be back in-person. The PTA would like to give a special THANK YOU to AV STEM Night organizers, Casey Law, Evgeny Lubenov, and Greg Wu!

AV Special Needs Committee – 2/8

1st Grade Parents Needed!

Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. January is 1st grade month. If you are a 1st grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.

Drop-Off Lane Reminders

The PTA would like to remind everyone that the safety of our students, staff and families is of the utmost importance.

- Please have your child ready to get out of the car, with their backpack, lunch, water bottle, etc. on hand.
- If your child needs help walking to the gate or getting out of the car, please park and walk until they get more independent.
- Everyone must exit cars on the sidewalk side.
- Drivers must remain in their vehicle.
- Please pull all the way up.
- Help keep traffic moving by exiting the lane once your child is out of the vehicle.
  - Do not wait for them to reach the gate

SPUSD 2023/2024 Instructional Calendar

The SPUSD School Board has approved the instructional calendar for the 2023/2024 School Year. The year begins on Tuesday August 15th and ends on Wednesday June 5th. See below for more important dates
