Drop Off Lanes CLOSED – Tuesday, 1/10

Hello AV Families,

Happy New Year! I hope you’re all enjoying your holidays and time with your families and friends.

Just a quick note to let you know that the El Centro and Cawston drop off lanes will be closed on Tuesday, January 10 due to a filming request to use our charming school entrance from 7:00AM – 11:00AM. The filming request came with a hefty financial incentive that we couldn’t pass up. I will work with the PTA and AV staff to come up with a way to use the financial incentive so that all our students will experience something fun and educational.

Please plan to park and walk, walk or bike to school on Tuesday, January 10 as the El Centro and Cawston drop off lanes will be closed. The office will not be accessible on Tuesday, January 10 from 7:00 – 11:00 so if you need to access the office please come to the 3rd gate on Cawston (TK and Extended Day gate) and someone will be there to assist you with your needs.

1st Grade Parents Needed!

Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. January is 1st grade month. If you are a 1st grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.

Holiday Toy Drive – Thank you!!

THANK YOU to the AV Community for your generosity during our Holiday Toy Drive! AV Gives Back was able to provide holiday presents for several South Pasadena families with a need, including some at AV.
