Last Day to Turn in Jog-A-Thon Donations is this Friday 3/18!

Great job to all the students who gave it their all and ran laps for the Jog-A-Thon to help raise money for their school! Thank you to all the parents who came out to help tally laps and cheer on the students as well as to the AV Jog-A-Thon volunteer crew who spent all day tallying up laps. Now let’s get those pledges and donations in by Friday, March 18 so that it can be counted towards the Golden Shoe Awards for your class!

All City Track Meet 2022

We are thrilled to announce that this year the All City Track Meet is back to the traditional format and as of today, registration is live!

Event Date: Saturday May 7, 2022, at the South Pasadena High School Track

REGISTER BY SUNDAY, APRIL 7th!
(This event is for grades K-5 only, but TK is encouraged to come out and cheer for their school as they look forward to participating in years to come.)

It’s time to lace up your shoes and register for the All City Track Meet where the AV Wildcats compete against South Pasadena elementary schools in track and field events!

Character Trait of the Month

February’s character trait of the month at AV was Problem Solving! “Step Up” is the phrase used in AV’s SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) curriculum, Second Step, to help remind kids of the 4 steps they need to take in order to be successful in problem solving! You can practice these at home, too. In March, we focus on Friendship!

AV Gives Back March Service Project Recap

Third grade students in the classes of Mrs. Diaz/Mrs. Tolleson, Mrs. Tait-Enroth, and Dr. M did an AMAZING job decorating and filling 200 mini hygiene kits for women experiencing homelessness at Friends in Deed’s The Women’s Room!
