Character Trait of the Month

February’s character trait of the month at AV was Problem Solving!  “Step Up” is the phrase used in AV’s SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) curriculum, Second Step, to help remind kids of the 4 steps they need to take in order to be successful in problem solving!  You can practice these at home, too.  In March, we focus on Friendship!

AV Gives Back March Service Project Recap

Third grade students in the classes of Mrs. Diaz/Mrs. Tolleson, Mrs. Tait-Enroth, and Dr. M did an AMAZING job decorating and filling 200 mini hygiene kits for women experiencing homelessness at Friends in Deed’s The Women’s Room!

Don’t forget to watch our Project Video here to learn more about individuals experiencing homelessness, and collect Wildcat Adventure Points for your classroom!
