AV Give Back May Service Project

We finished a wonderful year of giving back to our community with TWO AV Gives Back service projects! Our kindergarten classes made “adopt me” bandanas for shelter dogs out of old t-shirts, and our 1st graders decorated cheer signs for local Special Olympics athletes.

AV PTA wants to thank AV parent, Kelly Kwan, and her organization, Good SamariTots for helping growing AV’s budding community service program. She has taken a program that was just beginning to bud before the pandemic and grown it into one of AV PTA’s most meaningful endeavors. Thank you also to Alex Keim, for providing support as co-chair.

Snapshot of AV

We want to celebrate learning and growing at Arroyo Vista by providing you with the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and school campus for a “Snapshot” of your child’s experience this year. During your Snapshot visit your child will serve as a tour guide as you visit their classroom and then the school campus. You’ll get to see firsthand where they learn, play, eat, read, and engage in the arts! As you tour the school, you’ll even get to stop by the Snapshot selfie booth to take a picture with your child.

Mrs. Reed’s Class Earns Top Wildcats Award

Congratulations to Mrs, Reed’s 4th Grade Class for earning the Top Wildcats Award from the yearlong AV Wildcat Adventure. They earned this special recognition for having the most participation in AV PTA’s school-wide events throughout the year. Thank you to all who came out to support our programs all year round.

Thank you to Wildcat Adventure Committee Co-Chairs Keri Tuazon, Jennifer Wang, and Stella Jang for putting together the 2nd annual Wildcat Adventure Scavenger Hunt and overseeing the yearlong Wildcat Adventure!

2nd Grade Parents Needed!

Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. May is 2nd grade month! If you are a 2nd grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.
