Reflections Art Celebration & Contest

Does your child enjoy art, music, photography, film, writing or dance? Join us and submit your child’s art to the PTA Reflections Art contest by October 15th. All entries will receive ribbons and be eligible for medals. This year’s theme is “I Will Change the World By…”

Students use the theme as an inspiration for their art. Visit last year’s AV student’s artwork for inspiration https://avreflections.squarespace.com/.

To submit entries please use the google form https://forms.gle/ebQU4cU72gpFMCX2A , if you are unable to use the google entry form you may use the PDF form (link here) and send to [email protected].

In addition to the digital submission, please save your child’s original artwork to participate in the AV school art showing. It will need to be submitted to the front office by October 15th.

5th Grade Musical Parent Info Meeting

5th grade parents! The musical auditions are coming up! Please check spef4kids.org/programs/5th-grade-musical/ for more information. Registration begins Wednesday, October 6th at 9am. Performances are February 4th, 5th, and 6th.

Thank you to the Wildcat community for your donations towards Wish Night! Our teachers and staff have received their totals. For the classrooms that did not hit their goals, we will continue to spread the word since every dollar makes a direct impact to enhance your child’s educational experiences!

As your teachers share what’s made possible in the classroom, thanks to your gifts in their weekly newsletters, I will best serve you by highlighting Wish Night in our weekly segment, Teacher Feature. You’ve met our TK/K and first grade teachers. This week, meet our second grade teachers!

4th Grade Parents Needed!

Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. October is 4th grade month! If you are a 4th grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.
