AV Equity Committee – Listening Sessions

AV School Site Council

Become a Member of the 2022-23 Arroyo Vista School Site Council!

Dear Arroyo Vista Families:

The Arroyo Vista School Site Council (SSC) is a group of teachers, parents and staff that work with the principal to develop, review and evaluate the School Plan for Student Achievement.

This year, we need to enlist two parents to serve for 2 years as members of the council. We will meet a minimum of five times during the school year.

Topics to be Discussed:

  • What are the goals and priorities of our school?

  • What data do we have that shows how well we are achieving those goals?

  • What support can we put into place to assist struggling students?

  • How will we fund additional support?

If you are interested in serving on the Arroyo Vista School Site Council, please email me at [email protected] with the following information by Wednesday, September 14 at 4:00 PM. I will use this information on a ballot so that all Arroyo Vista parents can make an informed decision when they cast their vote.

1) Name

2) Short biography of 3-5 sentences to include why you want to represent AV families on the site council

3) Child(ren) at Arroyo Vista

4) Telephone #

The first School Site Council Virtual Meeting will be Wednesday, October 5 at 3:00 PM.

Sincerely,

Kim Sinclair

Principal
