Weekly Wildcat – September 12

Wish Night Update

Greetings, all!  Almost half the classrooms have reached our goal of 70% participation in Wish Night giving.  Thank you!  Our teachers have a vision and you’ve seen it in their Wish Lists.   Stay tuned because in the coming weeks we will feature the teachers from each grade to highlight and their plans for wish night funds. Not only do your funds directly benefit and enhance the science, social studies, STEM, math, reading and writing curriculums in our classrooms, don’t forget you can also designate a portion of your donation to the Principal’s Discretionary fund and the School Wide fund, which supports art, music, theater, occupational therapy, speech therapy, school psychologist, and more. Every dollar makes a difference.

Our teachers will get their preliminary totals this week to plan out the months ahead. Names and dollar amounts are not shared. Giving now allows them to plan ahead for an exceptional year!

If you haven’t already, please consider sending a gift online at ptav.org/wish-night or you can mail a check along with your donation form to: Arroyo Vista, Attn: Wish Night, 335 El Centro St.

Thanks!

Wish Night VP

We need 4 volunteers per day!   Sign Up HERE.

Reminders to Parents About Arrival, Dismissal and Your Dogs

  • You can find the arrival and dismissal gates and traffic reminders HERE.  Please remember to abide by all traffic and crosswalk rules when driving and walking around campus.

We love dogs!  Your dogs are members of our AV family, and we welcome them to drop-off and pickup.  Please keep in mind that some children are afraid of dogs, so pay attention when kids are around and keep your pup on a leash and close to you at all times.  And of course, always remember to clean up after them!
