Meet Your Match!
We want to say a BIG thank you to all of you who have continued to contribute to Wish Night! Your support is creating a wonderful experience for each of our students at Arroyo Vista.
Do you know about corporate matching? Many employers have established matching programs as part of their commitment to social responsibility. These programs are designed to support the causes that matter to their team members – that’s you! Some companies will match your donations dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple your contribution.
How amazing is that?
When you participate in a matching program, you’re tapping into their financial resources to bolster the causes you deeply care about. This can be especially meaningful for a school like ours which relies heavily on individual donations. If you are unsure whether your company offers a corporate matching program, the best place to inquire is your HR department. They might need a letter from the AV PTA that we are happy to provide!
Let’s keep those donations coming! You can go online to ptav.org/wish-night, drop your form and check at the front office in an envelope marked Wish Night, or drop it in the mail.

PTA General Meeting – THIS WEDNESDAY @7pm
Join us virtually for our next General PTA Meeting on Wednesday, September 20 @7pm! Our amazing music teacher, Mrs. Diggs, will be giving us an overview of the music program at AV. See what else we’ll be discussing here.
AV Dines – Tuesday, 9/26
Dine AV is now AV Dines! We’ve decided to no longer receive donations from the many businesses that have supported Arroyo Vista through the years. Instead, our focus is on building community with AV families, supporting local restaurants, and of course, Whiskers photo ops! Save The Date for our first AV Dines event on Tuesday, 9/26!
Movie Night on 10/6 – SAVE THE DATE!
Join us for one of the most highly anticipated events of the year on Friday, October 6th. Food, inflatables, and games followed by The Super Mario Bros. Movie! This year will also feature on-site food trucks, a photo booth, and pre-packed candy buckets benefitting 5th grade promotion. See you there!

Reflections Art Competition
September Wellness
5th Grade Parents Needed!
Each month, a different grade will be asked to volunteer to keep our drop-off lanes running. Without volunteers, we will have to close the lanes. September is 5th grade month. If you are a 5th grade parent, please, please, please sign up for a day or 3 or 4. We need 4 volunteers per day! Sign Up HERE.
Popsicle AND CHIPS – Every Tuesday!
Did you know popsicle sales are one of the BIGGEST fundraisers for 5th Grade Promotion? Grab a frozen treat and/or a bag of chips to support our 5th graders EVERY Tuesday!
Bike Bus – EVERY Tuesday!
